Burnett de Loiselle

Description

At the Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore Beth de Loiselle, a recipient of the Timothy Dill scholarship, studied old masters’ fundamentals while developing her own technique for paintings and miniature art, the latter art form dates back to medieval scribes. Presently, Beth teaches animal art, floral oil painting and the art of miniatures at the Schuler School of Fine Art. Exhibiting paintings in New York, Paris and London, Beth has received international awards for her miniatures. Her art can be found in collections across the United States as well as in France and England. The elegance and flair of Susan Smith Burnett's jewelry designs have their roots in her successful career in the fashion industry. A much photographed Ford Model in New York and Paris, Susan went on to study gold and silversmithing at New York's renowned Jewelry Arts Institute, where she worked with the most celebrated masters of the art. Today she creates unique, handcrafted pieces that are found in the collections of international clientele.
