Born in 1967 on the South Coast of England, Kait has been a professional artist for the past 9 years. She has successfully exhibited her work in her home county of Hampshire and further afield. Her paintings have been included in exhibitions at the Mall Galleries London and the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery in London on many occasions. Her work is also included in private collections in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, USA, Canada and Australia. Kait specializes on the Border Terrier and works predominantly in acrylics on canvas. She is presently exploring the interaction of Border Terriers and water and the relationship between the two. Her paintings capture the soul and personality of her subjects, and clients who have commissioned portraits of their pets have been amazed with the connection shows; not only is the likeness accurate, there is a capture of the spirit and soul too. She lives with three wonderful Borders, Rhubarb, Basil and Radish whom are often found keeping her company in her garden studio.
