Roger Henry
Description
Roger Henry is known the world over for his realistic portraits. His works are in private collections in the United States, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, Argentina and Brazil. Roger has also been commissioned to do portraits by movers and shakers in the Hollywood film scene and Page Powell, who worked closely with Andy Warhol curating shows for Jean-Michael Basquiat. He also won the International Lavardin Plein Air Juried Exhibition, in Lavardin France. Roger Henry attended the University of Kansas on an art scholarship. He received an honors award in Art History, a special mention at the International Design Conference in Aspen, Colorado, in 1986 and a scholarship to study abroad in France in 1987.
