Karen Bendersky, a rare fine artist, is trained in the methods and techniques of the old masters. She recently graduated from the Schuler School of Fine Arts where she specialized in oil portraiture influenced by the 19th century realism tradition which depicts truth and accuracy in art. Incorporating her earlier training as a psychologist, she uses her insights into living beings to create animal art that captures personality, individuality, and beauty. Not surprisingly Karen Bendersky’s paintings are not only masterfully painted, but also have a fresh, emotional appeal. As a recent graduate of art school, she has already been offered a one person exhibition.
